# Settings

Use live MCP discovery to check which tools your connection can call.

Portal settings control how your team works. Read the current configuration before choosing an administrative action.

Use your connection’s available tools to read or update company details, theme colors, and notifications. Configure client behavior with source_channels.get_settings/configure_settings; provider-wide client controls are not available through MCP. Before changing settings, read their current revision. If you need additional access, ask a Portal administrator to check your account’s permissions.
