# Review proposed application form changes

`deal_application_editor.validate_config`

Validate a complete config from get_config without saving. Read get_config_schema before authoring. Review impact against both live and draft questions: removals can permanently delete answers on publication; storage conversions and populated repeatable-group loss are blocked. Open a draft before saving. Copy live_revision, draft_revision and review_digest into replace, keeping the same config. A review is not consent; publishing requires a separate review and approval. This toolset requires a specific grant and is not assigned by default; request access through Support.
