# Update outbound channel

`outbound_channels.update`

Change sender-owned matchmaking inclusion, or a custom partner's identity, contacts or deal package. Connected partners support only matchmaking inclusion. Disabling it keeps publication and manual deals. A package change affects future deals using this route, not existing applications. No deal is submitted. First obtain intent, call outbound_channels.review_update, and explain affected records and consequences. Pass the unchanged review_token and reuse client_request_id only for identical retries. After success, read outbound_channels.get for the current revision and editable fields.
