# Create configured Lead source

`source_channels.create_configured`

Create a signup link or Referral API source with client_settings.starting_experience and optional invitation default. Legacy Boolean selectors remain accepted. API sources support profile-only, intake, self-service matchmaking and deal application starts. The selected experience determines the API submission contract. An authorized human activates the key in API setup; this tool does not provision credentials. Signup links allow only one client experience. Check source-setting restrictions before enabling client self-service. Does not send invitations or create client work.

Availability depends on live discovery and your access to the record. Do not infer MCP calls from REST paths.
