# Get Lead source client settings

`source_channels.get_settings`

Read source-owned client options, new-enabling restrictions and initial journey. Check can_configure_client_settings: Marketplace and partner referral client settings are read-only. API sources support profile-only, intake, self-service matchmaking and deal application starts. A false can_enable prevents new enabling but does not withdraw saved client self-service or direct applications. Use the revision before changing settings. API requests inherit the invitation default when invite_on_submit is null or omitted.

Availability depends on live discovery and your access to the record. Do not infer MCP calls from REST paths.
